AM General last week received a $459 million foreign military sales order to provide 2,090 humvees to Afghanistan, according to a service spokesman. An Aug. 29 Defense Department announcement states the order is part of a $2.2 billion firm fixed-price contract to provide up to 11,560 humvees, associated equipment and spare parts for FMS customers.
