Analysts: U.S.-EU Best Practices Agreement On Merger Reviews Won't Impact Defense Companies

Yesterday's issuance by U.S. and European Union antitrust officials of a set of "best practices" for coordinating future merger reviews likely will not adversely impact the aerospace and defense industry, analysts told InsideDefense.com today. The best practices recognize that cooperation is most effective when the investigation timetables of the reviewing agencies run more or less in parallel, according to an EU statement.
