Army Awards Lockheed Martin $70 Million Contract to Build ATACMS

The Army's Aviation and Missile Command has awarded Lockheed Martin's Dallas, TX-based missiles and fire control division a $69.7 million contract for the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) Block IA missile, the company announced today. Lockheed Martin will build 110 ATACMS Block IA missiles under a Full-Rate Production III contract at the missiles and fire control division's Dallas and El Paso, TX, facilities, according to the company statement.
