Army completes Modular Active Protection System test

The Army has completed its first physical soft-kill demonstration test of the Modular Active Protection System, according to a May 8 announcement from the Army Research Development and Engineering Command. Using a "MAPS approach," the "evaluation demonstrated the first end-to-end engagement -- from cue to defeat -- of an [active protection system]."
