Army developing 'autonomous recruiting operations concept' amid COVID-19 pandemic

The commanding general of U.S. Army Recruiting Command said today the service is developing a new concept focused on tech-savvy recruiters while shifting all recruiting operations virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic. Maj. Gen. Frank Muth said at a virtual Association of the U.S. Army event the service this year was on track to come out of the "bathtub months" -- February through the end of May when accession usually dips -- with 2,224 contracts more than during the same timeframe...
