Army FY-18 request includes $3.1 billion for missile procurement

The Army's budget request for fiscal year 2018 includes $3.1 billion for missile procurement, with $2.5 billion in the base budget and $559 million in the Overseas Contingency Operations account. The amount includes $786.7 million dedicated to procuring 6,000 Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System rockets in FY-18, with $595.2 million in the base budget and $191.5 million in OCO.
