Army No Longer Wants JTRS GMR; New Solicitation Expected

The Army no longer wants to procure the Joint Tactical Radio Systems' key ground radio and is preparing to release a solicitation for a different solution, according to service officials. The new solicitation would request input from industry on a two-channel radio that can work with the Army's prized Wideband Networking Waveform and take the place of Boeing's JTRS Ground Mobile Radio, according to Col.
