Army Objects To Proposed JTRS, WIN-T Cuts

The Army is objecting to multimillion-dollar cuts proposed by congressional appropriators to the Joint Tactical Radio System and the Warfighter Information Network–Tactical programs, according to two Army information papers. At issue for the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) is a $775.8 million request in the Army's "other procurement" account in fiscal year 2012.
