Army takes new approach to developing training tools

The Army is working with nontraditional contractors through a technology accelerator to develop a new video game-like training system. The service this month awarded two other transaction agreements for the program, called Athena, through its Training and Readiness Accelerator, or TReX, an organization managed by the nonprofit National Security Technology Accelerator in Arlington, VA.
