Army's Bolton: Comanche on Track

The Army's RAH-66 Comanche program is moving ahead on schedule, and only time will tell whether the service's approach to developing and purchasing the attack-reconnaissance helicopter will need to change, the Army's acquisition chief told reporters today. Army acquisition executive Claude Bolton said the next-generation aircraft is currently on track to meet its scheduled fielding date of fiscal year 2009, but suggested anything is possible.
