ATK Buys Boeing Ordnance Business

Boeing today announced it is selling its Mesa, AZ-based ordnance business to Alliant Techsystems, according to a company statement. While terms of the agreement were not disclosed, the transaction follows an announcement in May 2001 that Boeing was seeking a buyer for its ordnance business to further focus company operations on core aerospace capabilities, the statement reads.
