Following the Government Accountability Office's protest sustainment last week, the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles "rebuy" acquisition effort should be reexamined in the context of the new Weapon System Acquisition Reform Act, BAE Systems officials said today. BAE, the incumbent in the FMTV protest, was handed a victory by GAO when auditors sustained the protests filed by BAE and fellow losing competitor Navistar against the Army's award to Oshkosh this summer.
