BAE Systems Completes $68 Million Sale Of Chaff And Flare Business

BAE Systems North America has completed the sale of its expendable defensive countermeasures business, the company announced yesterday. The $67.5 million cash sale to Esterline Technologies was originally announced July 15, according to a BAE statement. "Closing of the sale today followed completion of regulatory reviews and approvals," the company said. The business unit has facilities in Lillington, NC, and East Camden, AR.
