Blue Dog Democrats Want More Oversight of Supplemental Funds

Members of the congressional Blue Dog Coalition are backing proposed legislation they say will ensure accountability in spending fiscal year 2005 supplemental funds for Iraq and Afghanistan. "We need to support our troops and ensure that they have the resources needed to do their job," Rep. Mike Thompson (D-CA) said in statement released yesterday.
