Boeing Merges Military, Space Business Units

Boeing is merging its space and military aircraft businesses to create a single, $23 billion Integrated Defense Systems business unit, the company announced today. According to a company statement, Jim Albaugh, until now president and chief executive officer of Boeing's Space and Communications business unit, will become president and CEO of Boeing Integrated Defense Systems.
