Bush Requests $9 Billion NNSA Budget

President Bush yesterday submitted a $9 billion budget request to Congress for the National Nuclear Security Administration to fund nuclear weapons stewardship, nonproliferation programs and work on naval reactors. The fiscal year 2005 budget request is part of the $24.3 billion Energy Department request, which is the largest in the department's history.
