Bush Signs Fiscal Year 2002 Defense Appropriations Bill

President Bush today signed the $317 billion fiscal year 2002 defense appropriations bill into law. "This nation owes the men and women of the military our full measure of respect and our full measure of support," Bush said at a signing ceremony during a visit to the Pentagon.
