Chamber of Commerce Chooses Retired General to Run New Energy Institute

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has picked retired Marine Corps Gen. James Jones to run the organization's new Institute for Energy. The institute will work with Congress, federal agencies, the court system, state governments and others to push for "commonsense energy and related regulatory, tax, infrastructure, and environmental policies" that also promise to secure the nation's supply of energy, a March 5 Chamber of Commerce statement reads.
