Coast Guard to Deploy More Ships, Law Enforcement Personnel for OIF

At the Defense Department's request, the Coast Guard will add two patrol boats, two law enforcement detachments and supporting forces to a security contingent already protecting an Iraqi oil terminal in the northern Arabian Gulf, the service announced today. The added forces will guard the Khawr Al Amaya oil terminal, joining four Island-class patrol boats and two law enforcement detachments already there, said Lt.
