Cohen: DOD May Soon Decide On Deutch's Industry Security Clearance

Defense Department officials expect to have in a few days information from the CIA inspector general's office that may result in the termination of the industrial security clearance for former CIA Director John Deutch, Defense Secretary William Cohen said today. Deutch had his CIA and DOD security clearances yanked last August after the CIA's IG found he stored thousands of pages of classified information on a portable computer he had at home.
