Congress Names Members Of National Space Commission

Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld has been named chairman of a congressionally mandated commission that will examine the management and organization of national security space programs, the House Armed Services Committee announced yesterday. The 13-member commission will spend the next six months studying issues such as the creation of an independent military department dedicated to the national security space mission.
