Congress Notified of Potential AWACS Equipment Sale to Japan

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency today notified Congress of a possible $147 million sale to Japan of new Airborne Warning and Control System equipment. In a statement, DSCA said Japan had requested the equipment to outfit previously procured AWACS aircraft.
