Continuing Resolution Would Delay Standup Of Huey Replacement Office

The Air Force is aiming for production of a new helicopter to replace the UH-1N Huey to begin as early as 2017, but a continuing resolution in Congress could put a snag in the service's near-term planning. The Air Force is conducting market research with industry to refine its acquisition strategy and find potential platforms which could meet its requirements for a Huey replacement.
