DARPA seeks input for program using commercially available technologies

The Pentagon's advanced research arm seeks industry input for a program designed to use commercially available technologies to threaten military operations and personnel, according to a recent notice. In a March 11 notice, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency calls for proposals for the Improv program, which seeks "innovative research proposals for prototype products and systems that have the potential to threaten current military operations, equipment or personnel and are assembled primarily from commercially available technology."
