Defense contractors brace for extended continuing resolution

Several defense contractors said this week they expect the continuing resolution now in place until Dec. 8 to be extended significantly longer. Lynn Dugle, Engility's chief executive, said during a Thursday evening call with analysts that the contractor anticipates the continuing resolution in place to “be extended through the end of the year or early next.” Engility reported this week its sales in the quarter hit $487 million, down from $512 million during the same three-month period the prior year...
