The Pentagon's military components could make better use of a NATO maintenance agency to reduce costs, the Defense Department inspector general's office has found. According to an IG report released yesterday, NATO created the NATO Maintenance and Supply Organization in 1958 to provide logistics services in support of weapon systems owned by more than one NATO nation.
