DOD Merges Procurement, Acquisition Initiatives Offices

With the onset of the new fiscal year, the acquisition initiatives and defense procurement organizations within the office of the under secretary of defense for acquisition, technology and logistics have officially merged, the Pentagon said this week. Diedre Lee, who headed the defense procurement office, becomes director of defense procurement and acquisition policy.
