DOD Merges UAV Programs, Denies Air Force Executive Agent Role

Dueling Army and Air Force medium- to high-altitude unmanned aerial vehicle programs will be condensed into a single acquisition program under the authority of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, according to a Sept. 13 memorandum from Deputy Defense Secretary Gordon England.
