DOD Notifies Congress Of Potential $550 Million NATO SATCOM Services Deal

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency yesterday announced a possible $550 million foreign military sale to ensure NATO's satellite communications capabilities are interoperable with the Pentagon's. If approved by Congress, the sale would provide NATO with replacement satellite communications capabilities in the UHF and SHF frequency bands based on U.S. national military SATCOM programs, DSCA said.
