The Pentagon has provided the most detailed explanation to date of its classified Air-Sea Battle Concept, issuing a paper on the joint-service effort launched in 2009 and led by the Air Force and Navy to deal with threats -- particularly from China or Iran -- that could impair the U.S. military's ability to project power.
