DOD Planning Guidance Sets June Due Date for Homeland Defense Strategy

The Defense Department's first-ever Strategic Planning Guidance requires Pentagon leaders to complete a homeland defense strategy by the end of June. A draft version of the SPG's directed planning task list, obtained by Inside the Pentagon , highlights a number of studies already well under way and includes their respective due dates.
