DOD Seeks Biometrics Capabilities Improvements

The Army Research Laboratory is seeking industry ideas on how to improve the collection and analysis of biometric data, according to a solicitation posted on the Federal Business Opportunities Web site today. Lab officials are looking for enhancements in the categories of "collection systems," "sub-optimal data enhancement," "next-generation algorithms," "data fusion" and "architecture" that can be demonstrated within 18 months, the notice says.
