DOD Seeks Exemption From Submitting Industrial Capabilities Report To Congress

The Defense Department is calling on Congress to repeal legislation that requires DOD to submit an annual report on technology and the defense industrial base. Pentagon officials submitted final proposed legislative language to lawmakers April 19 for the fiscal year 2003 Defense Authorization bill.
