DOD Stops Work On Oshkosh M-ATV Ambulance

Defense Department officials have issued a stop-work to Oshkosh for blast-proof ambulances urgently needed by forces in Afghanistan, with sources saying a Navistar vehicle is likely to be tapped instead. The move follows a test failure of Oshkosh's Mine Resistant Ambush Protected All-Terrain Vehicle modified to function as an ambulance, sources say.
