DOD, U.S. Allies To Sign Multimillion-Dollar Deal For C-130J Upgrades

The Pentagon plans to sign a multimillion-dollar agreement with half a dozen allies to upgrade C-130J Super Hercules aircraft with new capabilities that will improve the viability and interoperability of the cargo planes. The office of Frank Kenlon, the Defense Department's acting director of international cooperation, notified Congress last month of the plan to sign the "capability management updates project arrangement" with Australia, Canada, Denmark, Italy, Norway and the United Kingdom.
