Hale: DOD To Avoid Canceling Contracts

The Defense Department will work to avoid canceling contracts if sequestration takes effect on March 1, Pentagon Comptroller Robert Hale said today. "I don't anticipate that we will cancel many, if any, contracts, because we'd incur substantial costs," Hale told reporters.
