House Bill Would Delay 2005 Base Closure Round By Two Years

Fifteen members of Congress are seeking to postpone until 2007 the next round of military base closures and realignments. "With the nation at war, it is a profoundly bad time to be rearranging our military infrastructure -- you do that when the nation is at peace," Rep.
