House Democrats are preparing to attach three key amendments to the chamber's version of the fiscal year 2008 defense appropriations bill, including a measure that calls for the complete withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq and Afghanistan within 60 days, a key architect of the plan told reporters today.
