Industry Coalition Calls for Streamlining U.S. Export Controls

A newly formed group of eight trade associations representing an array of U.S. manufacturers is asking President Bush to revamp and streamline the nation's export control system by adopting a number of proposals that can be implemented without seeking approval from Congress.
