JROC Increases Army's MRAP Requirement Range, Drops Marine, Air Force Totals

A Pentagon board last week approved increasing the Army's requirement for Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles and decreasing the number the Marine Corps and Air Force are slated to receive, Pentagon sources said. The Joint Requirements Oversight Council endorsed a new MRAP Army requirement range of 10,433 to 15,884 vehicles, with a near-term quantity of 11,953 vehicles for the service, sources said.
