L-3 Buys Two Northrop Grumman Business Units

Northrop Grumman has agreed to sell its Electron Devices and Ruggedized Displays businesses to L-3 Communications, the two companies announced today. While terms of the transaction, which is expected to close in November, were not disclosed, L-3 expects the two businesses together to contribute sales of about $140 million and earnings per share of 4 cents to the company's 2003 results, according to an L-3 statement.
