Livermore Lab Wins Reliable Replacement Warhead Design Competition

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, CA, has won a hard-fought design competition with Los Alamos National Laboratory, NM, for a new kind of nuclear warhead that the Navy wants to deploy on its ballistic missile submarines, the National Nuclear Security Administration announced today.
