Lockheed is tapped to make rockets for Israel, Finland, Jordan, Singapore

Lockheed Martin received a $332 million contract from the Army to manufacture Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System rocket pods destined for sale to Israel, Finland, Jordan and Singapore, according to the Defense Department. The May 19 announcement does not include specific quantities for each of the countries, saying only that the company will make a total of 290 alternative-warhead rocket pods, 34 unitary rocket pods and 529 reduced-range practice rocket pods.
