Lt. Gen. Cody Tapped for Army Vice Chief of Staff

Army operations and plans chief Lt. Gen. Richard Cody has been tapped to become the service's vice chief of staff, the Defense Department announced today. If the Senate approves his nomination for the No. 2 uniformed position in the Army, Cody would receive his fourth star. The service has not announced who would replace him as the Army "G-3."
