Major Navy unmanned tech efforts cut in House spending bill

Despite the Navy's efforts to convince lawmakers to make major investments in unmanned technology, House appropriators are proposing funding cuts for several high-profile programs in their fiscal year 2020 defense spending bill. Among the programs receiving cuts include the MQ-25 Stingray, Extra Large Unmanned Undersea Vehicle, the Large Unmanned Surface Vehicle as well as a line item for general technology development, according to the report accompanying the bill .
