Marine Commandant Defends EFV, Says V-22 Headed to Afghanistan By End of Year

Marine Commandant Gen. James Conway today defended the service's Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle program and told reporters that the V-22 tiltrotor will deploy to Afghanistan by the end of the year. "The EFV is going to revolutionize the battlefield," Conway said at a Pentagon briefing.
