Marine Corps CAC2S may be delayed one year due to FY-16 cuts

The Marine Corps is determining the impact of budget cuts in the fiscal year 2016 defense spending bill for its Common Aviation Command and Control System, with the effort "most likely" delayed by one year, according to a service spokesman. The service requested $35 million in procurement dollars in the FY-16 budget request but Congress set aside only $16 million for the effort.
