Marines Will Not Comply With Gilmore's F-35B Testing Recommendation

The Marine Corps will not comply with a recommendation made by the Pentagon's top weapons tester for additional operational testing of the F-35B aircraft, calling it "fiscally impractical," according to a service statement. On July 22, the Pentagon's Director of Operational Test and Evaluation J. Michael Gilmore issued a report on F-35B OT-1 that took place in May.
