Marines Working To Get Mobile Landing Platform Supporting EUCOM, AFRICOM By 2017

The Marine Corps is working on a request to be signed by the heads of U.S. European and Africa commands to have a Mobile Landing Platform support those regions beginning in 2017, according to the service's top uniformed official. Marine Corps Commandant Gen. Joseph Dunford said April 13 at the Navy League's annual symposium in National Harbor, MD, that both of these combatant commands need additional support.
