Milley: Army's cyber branch in 'early stages' of growth

The Army is continuously expanding its cyber capabilities with expectations for the branch to grow, according to Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Milley. At a May 25 Senate Armed Services Committee hearing, Milley highlighted the Army's efforts to develop 62 cyber protection teams, which consist of 41 in the active component and 21 in the Guard and Reserve, and said cyber is "one of the more popular branches coming out of the [U.S. Military Academy] and ROTC to seek commission...
